Law firm investigating reported sexual assault at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Facility

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Lexington law firm says it is continuing to investigate allegations of sexual assault involving a patient at the Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Facility.

According to a release from Minner Vines Injury Lawyers, the firm is representing a patient who claims she was sexually assaulted while under the care of the rehabilitation facility. The firm says the alleged assault involved a nurse technician.

The statement from Minner Vines Injury Lawyers also says additional women have come forward, claiming they were sexually assaulted by the same nurse technician while receiving care at Cardinal Hill.

Attorneys with the firm say they are actively seeking to speak with anyone who may have information related to the allegations or who may have had similar experiences.

No additional details about the investigation or the identities of those involved have been released at this time.
