Law Enforcement Hosts Halloween Party For Kids In Lexington

On Tuesday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office and Law Enforcement hosted a free and educational Halloween party for kids in the Douglass Park neighborhood in Lexington.

Parents and children were given tips on how to combat community dangers such as violent crime, bullying and civil rights violations.

Law Enforcement used the event to help establish a positive relationship with parents and children in the community to help improve communication and promote a safe neighborhood.

Along with the educational materials, there was face painting, a cupcake walk, games and pumpkin painting.

Representatives from the U.S. Attorney’s Office; FBI; ATF; Lexington Police; Lexington Fire Department; Douglass Park Neighborhood Association; Secret Service; Fayette County Sheriff’s Office; and Kentucky State Police partnered to put on the event.
