Laurel Sheriff’s Office looks for man added to ‘most wanted’ list

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is trying to find a man who is now on its Most Wanted list.

Deputies want to find Michael Franklin Bruner, aka Bruno.

Investigators say that on January 25, Bruner refused to pull over for deputies on U.S. 25, north of London.

According to the sheriff’s office, Bruner led authorities on a chase that exceeded 100 miles per hour.

Deputies say the pursuit went across Ky 1956 and Ky 80.

Investigators say Bruner was wanted on a drug indictment warrant, as well as a parole violation warrant.

The sheriff’s office says Bruner is also accused of claiming unemployment benefits while incarcerated at the Laurel County Detention Center.
