Laurel sheriff: Pickup crashes, lands on its side in yard

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says an overturned pickup truck ended up in someone’s front yard.

Deputies say it happened this afternoon on Ky 1189 near Ky 229. They say the driver lost control on the slick highway. They say the truck hit a tree before flipping on its side.

The sheriff’s office says the driver wasn’t hurt. But deputies are reminding people to be extra careful on the slick roads and highways.
