Laurel deputies: Two arrested in store robbery

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-  The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says two people were arrested in connection to a store robbery.

It says 33-year-old Lorie Eversole of Corbin and 37-year-old Jason Wells of Lily face charges in a July 26 hold up at Corner Market off KY 830.

According to deputies, Wells took a money bag by force from a cashier. They say Eversole stayed in the car and acted as a lookout. Deputies say they found the car used in the robbery when they arrested Eversole.
