Laurel County Sheriff’s Office looking for a robbery suspect

LONDON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a weekend robbery south of London.

Deputies said the robbery happened around 9:35 p.m. Saturday at the Smoke Shop on KY 363, about a mile south of the city.

Investigators say the suspect entered the store, pepper-sprayed the clerk, stole cash from the register, and fled. Photos of the suspect have been distributed by the sheriff’s office.
