UPDATE: Laurel County Sheriff’s Office looking for a missing teen
UPDATE: The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says Sandra Salazar was found, and is safe. No other information was given.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding 14-year-old Sandra Salazar, who was last seen overnight near American Greeting Card Road. According to a sheriff’s office news release, Salazar is 5 feet tall, weighs 130 pounds and was wearing gray shorts and Nike shoes.
Deputies believe she may be with 17-year-old Elijah Lone and could be heading toward Whitley County. Anyone who sees Sandra Salazar or has information on her whereabouts is urged to call the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office at 606-864-6600 or send a direct message on the department’s Facebook page.
