Laurel County parents accused of abusing 13-month-old

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two parents in Laurel County are accused of abusing their 13-month-old.

Deputies arrested the couple after an investigation into a social services complaint.

26-year-olds Jessica Sams and Thomas Talllon from Corbin are charged with criminal abuse.

According to deputies, the child had infected cigarette burns on her backside. She was taken into protective custody.
