Laurel County Officers Make Arrest In Arson Case

A fire in Laurel County early Saturday morning is being investigated for arson.

State police say the fire started at 1:20am on Peach Tree Lane in the North Corbin Community.

Investigators determined an accelerant was used to advance the fire.

Other information then led them to the arrest of Douglas Paul Taylor, 52, from Corbin, charging him with arson.

The investigation is ongoing.
