Laurel County man arrested on unlawful imprisonment and drug charges

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Laurel County man is facing charges after deputies say he refused to let a woman leave a motel room in Corbin.

The sheriff’s office says 40-year-old Brendan Patrick was arrested Sunday after he was found hiding under a bed at the motel. Deputies had responded to a domestic complaint and say Patrick would not allow a woman staying with him to open the door.

Investigators say Patrick also allegedly had a small bag containing what appeared to be meth. He is charged with unlawful imprisonment and drug offenses.
