Laurel County man arrested for causing disturbance
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s office got an odd call Friday night right after 9′ o clock for a disturbance.
According to police 37-year-old Jason Patton of London was found on Patton Road armed with a stick, hitting mailboxes, screaming, cursing and creating a disturbance.
Reportedly when deputies approached him, he ran inside a mobile home, began threatening officers and then barricading himself inside.
After about a two hour standoff, Patton left the home and after a brief struggle he was taken into custody.
He has been charged with criminal mischief, fleeing or evaded police, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
