Launch party for new bourbon in Danville

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — The Liquor Barn in Danville is having a launch party for a brand new bourbon that’s hitting the store’s shelves.

Luca Mariano Family Select Premium Whiskey, a distiller of small batch whiskeys, celebrates the release of its Luca Mariano Old Americana Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Luca Mariano Small Batch Kentucky Straight Rye.

The party is happening Friday, August 16th from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Liquor Barn at 2900 S. Danville Bypass. It’s open to the public and will feature live music from singers who were on The Voice.

The Old Americana Band, features Jordan Kirdorffer from The Voice, will play from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

“This is a very exhilarating and emotional time for me, the launch party is the culmination of many, many years of unwavering hard work,” according to Francesco Viola. “Releasing Old Americana Bourbon and Rye in Kentucky, the epicenter of the bourbon world, is a dream come true. My vision is to give whiskey lovers something I grew up with, a taste of something a bit different from the norm.”

Luca Mariano’s offerings will be available across the state at restaurants and retail outlets.
