Larry Ellison Surpasses Elon Musk as World’s Richest Person
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk is no longer the world’s richest person. That title now belongs to Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
Ellison, 81, now has a net worth valued at $393 billion. A major portion of that wealth — about $101 billion — was added Tuesday night after Oracle reported exceptionally strong earnings.
Ellison is the company’s largest shareholder, and Oracle’s stock has surged in recent weeks thanks to growing demand from AI customers.
Musk’s net worth, according to Bloomberg, now sits at $385 billion.
