Largest Lexington Police recruit class ever to graduate Thursday
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Forty-eight recruits from the Lexington Police Training Academy are scheduled to graduate Thursday morning.
It is the largest recruit class in the department’s history.
Several recruits have military experience and many have a family connection in the department or other law enforcement agencies.
Mayor Jim Gray and Police Chief Mark Barnard will deliver remarks.
The ceremony is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Tates Creek Christian Church on Tates Creek Road.
