Lanes reopen on I-75 after crash involving semi, car, and police cruiser

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Traffic is moving again on I-75 Southbound after a crash involving multiple vehicles sent two people to the hospital Wednesday morning.

According to Lexington Police, the crash happened just after 9 a.m. near the 110-mile marker, close to the Winchester Road exit. The accident involved a semi-truck, a car, and a police cruiser.

Emergency crews arrived to find two people with minor injuries. They were taken to a local hospital and are expected to recover. Police confirmed that the officer involved in the crash was not injured.

The scene has since been cleared, and all lanes have reopened. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
