Lanes in a construction zone along Interstate 75 in Fayette County will be open during the Labor Day weekend, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Motorists can expect lane closures (northbound) to resume on Tuesday, September 2.

The construction zone is from mile point 106 to mile point 98.

Mile point 98 is the Clay’s Ferry Bridge at the Madison County line.

The Transportation Cabinet also released a revised completion date of September 21 for the construction project, which is designed to alleviate unevenness in the pavement.
