Lane closures on I-64 for bridge inspections

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ)- Temporary closures on I-64 are expected this week due to bridge inspections.

These closures will take place through Bath, Rowan, and Carter counties.

Inspections will begin Tuesday, July 17 on bridges on I-64 between Mt. Sterling and the Rowan County line in Bath County around mile markers 118, 120, 122 and 129.

Inspections will begin Wednesday, July 18 on bridges in Carter County near Olive Hill at mile marker 161.

Inspections will require one-lane traffic across each bridge being inspected for a short duration each day.
