Lane closure near Clays Ferry Bridge scheduled for Wednesday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Drivers traveling near the Clays Ferry Bridge in Fayette and Madison counties need to expect possible delays Wednesday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says there will be a lane closure on I-75 at milepoint 97.8.

The closure will be in the southbound left lane.

The cabinet says the closure is necessary for bridge deck patching operations on the Clays Ferry Bridge.

It will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Two lanes of traffic will remain open.
