Lancaster Councilman Takes Over As Mayor Again
A city councilman is the mayor of Lancaster again.
That’s according to the Advocate-Messenger which reports former mayor Brenda Powers was removed by court order Tuesday and it’s not the first time it’s happened.
She was also removed from office in November and was reinstated by a judge in March and Councilman Chris Davis took over then too.
The paper says the other four council members said he did such a good job the first time, he deserved to take over again.
