Lake Reba Halloween Hoedown canceled tonight

RICHMOND, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – If you were planning to head out to Lake Reba Park for the annual Halloween Hoedown, there’s been a change of plans.

The Richmond Parks and Recreation Department says Thursday night’s event has been canceled due to wet field conditions and the weather forecast.

However, the Richmond Police Department will host its “Cops and Goblins Candy Tour” on Halloween night from 6 to 8 p.m. Families can stop by the police building to collect candy from officers — no sign-ups or scary surprises, just treats and decorations.

And remember, Trick-or-Treat night for both Richmond and Berea is still on for Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
