Lafayette falls to Male 41-14 in 6A State Championship game

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WTVQ) – For the first time since 1985 Lafayette made it to the State Championship.

Male’s quickness posed a threat to the Generals, and exposed some holes in the boat early on.

Lafayette trailed 20 -7 at half, but could not get the wheels rolling coming out of the locker room.

Walker Wood was 22 of 36 for 229 yards with 2 interceptions in Lafayette’s loss to Male 41-14.
