Lack of hydrants hampers firefighters at huge business fire
PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A lack of hydrants hampered firefighters efforts to put out a huge business fire Tuesday evening on KY 70 W, near the Lincoln-Pulaski County line, according to authorities.
Dispatchers in Pulaski County say J & J Pallet, formerly Monroe Pallet, caught fire around 6:00 p.m. They say due to a lack of hydrants near the fire scene, water had to be trucked-in from Eubank.
Firefighters from several departments were called-in to help fight the fire, which was still burning well after midnight.
