KYTC announces rolling roadblocks on I-75 Monday & Tuesday nights
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is advising drivers that there will be rolling roadblocks on I-75 in Fayette County overnight on Monday and Tuesday to perform a bridge demolition as part of the Todds Road widening project.
On Monday, September 12, 2016 – 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Tuesday)
Fayette County: Interstate 75 northbound at mile point 107
- Right lane will close and police officers will control traffic from Exit 104 to the bridge while the contractor removes beams from the old bridge and debris from the road.
- Traffic through the work zone will be slowed due to limited visibility due to dust.
- Traffic could be completely blocked for up to 15 minutes at a time.
On Tuesday, September 13, 2016 – 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Wednesday)
Fayette County: Interstate 75 southbound at mile point 107
- Right lane will close and police officers will control traffic from Exit 110 to the bridge while the contractor removes beams from the old bridge and debris from the road.
- Traffic through the work zone will be slowed due to limited visibility due to dust.
- Traffic could be completely blocked for up to 15 minutes.
