The department posted on its Facebook page Monday that it needs volunteers to help its Basic Training Academy recruits practice field sobriety testing.

The department says participants can choose to drink bourbon, vodka or rum in “regulated amounts.”

Volunteers are required to stay on site until their blood alcohol level returns to 0.00.

Participants will received $100 and a free meal.

Volunteers are needed on March 21, April 25 and June 6.

People who were interested were directed to contact Brooke Norton at docjt.duitraining@ky.gov or call 859-622-6453.
