Ky. native country singer Sturgill Simpson test positive for COVID-19

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky native country singer Sturgill Simpson posted on his Instagram Saturday he tested positive for coronavirus.

In the lengthy post, he says he’s had symptoms for about a month, but wasn’t able to secure a test until a few days ago.

His wife also got tested, her test came back negative, Sturgill said.
