Ky lawmakers to meet this week to address school safety

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lawmakers in Kentucky are hoping to start taking action to keep schools safe this week.

The school safety working group will have its first meeting Monday at 1 pm in Frankfort.

The bi partisan group will set dates for future meetings about school safety.

The group consists of ten state lawmakers including Senator Alice Forgy Kerr and Representative George Brown Junior, both from Lexington.
