KY 946 to be closed in Morgan County June 15

JACKSON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Motorists will need to find an alternate route if they plan on using KY 946 in Morgan County on June 15.

The drainage pipe replacement will cause a closure at milepoint 3.5, just east of Hall Road between US 460 and KY 1010.

The road work should last from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and all through traffic will be closed during this period.

Drivers can use US 460 and KY 1010 since no marked detour will be posted.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, less than 100 vehicles use this area of KY 946 daily.

The closure will be postponed in case of inclement weather until a more suitable date.
