KY 2017 in Lee County closing for drainage pipe replacement
JACKSON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Drivers should be aware of an upcoming closure on KY 2017 between Vada and Williba in Lee County on Saturday, Aug. 7.
The closure will be at milepoint 4.5 as crews replace a drainage pipe. This area is east of the Blankey Branch Road intersection.
Work will start close to 8 a.m. and is expected to be done by 4 p.m. The road will be closed to all through traffic at this time.
No marked detour will be posted, but drivers can use KY 52 and KY 708 as an alternate route.
If weather interferes, the closure will be pushed back to another suitable date.
Around 35 vehicles use this portion of KY 2017 every day.
