KSP: Woman escapes from Estill County jail

IRVINE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say a woman escaped from the Estill County jail on Tuesday. Investigators say around 12:30 p.m., 19-year old Francis N. Stamper, escaped from the jail and took off running. Several law enforcement agencies searched the area, but didn’t find Stamper.

She was last seen wearing a green shirt and black leggings. State Police say she is approximately 5’3″ tall, 153 lbs., with black hair.

Investigators say Stamper was in jail for failure to appear on a shoplifting charge.
