KSP: Welfare check on children leads to arrest
UTICA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a welfare check led to the arrest of a Utica man.
According to KSP, an anonymous call came in Wednesday, asking someone check on children living with a convicted felon who was in possession of guns at the home.
State Police and Ohio County Sheriff’s Department went to the home and say they found 26-year-old Robert Boggess, a convicted felon.
Troopers say two handguns were at the home.
Boggess is charged with possession of handgun by a convicted felon and was booked into the Ohio County Jail.
