KSP: Victim tied up and robbed in home invasion

HARLAN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a Coldiron man is behind bars, accused of tying up and robbing a woman in her home.

Troopers say they were called to a home on Saturday just before 8:30 p.m. from a woman saying an unknown man had come into her home.  The woman told police the man had a firearm, and that he demanded money from her.  The woman then told investigators that the man tied her up, and took several items from the home, before running off.

Troopers say they began investigating, and were able to identify the suspect as 27-year-old William Saylor.  Officers located Saylor later that night and charged him with robbery, and possession charges.

He was taken to the Harlan County Detention Center.
