KSP urges motorists to use caution during memorial march

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are asking drivers to be vigilant during the Kentucky National Guard’s Memorial Ruck March.

According to KSP, the march will be held in honor of Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Cole, former 1-149 BN Commander.

KSP says the march will take place over three days and covers around 200 miles of Southeastern Kentucky, including a portion of KSP Post 11 counties.

The march starts at 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 on US HWY 25, at the Madison and Rockcastle County line, according to KSP.

KSP explains marchers will go through Somerset and London, before reaching Corbin around 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2.

State Police are urging motorists to use extreme caution along these roads during the 24-hour period.
