KSP: Two shot during argument in Columbia
COLUMBIA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two men ended up shot following an argument in Columbia, according to State Police. Investigators say when they arrived at a house on Burnett Road early Saturday morning, the found the homeowner, 22-year old Christopher Janes, in the front yard suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
They say they found 22-year old Dustin Coomer, of Columbia, in an upstairs room with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.
Investigators say during an argument, Janes shot Coomer and then shot himself.
Both men were rushed to TJ Sampson Westlake Hospital and then airlifted to University of Louisville hospital.
State Police say Coomer is in stable condition and that Janes is listed in critical condition.
