KSP troopers to deliver “Trooper Teddy’ bears to children’s hospital
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Kentucky State Police to visit children’s hospital to give out traditional ‘Trooper Teddy’ bear.
Troopers, dispatchers, civilian staff and Citizen Police Academy Alumni from KSP Post 5 will visit Norton Children’s Hospital on Thursday, May 3 to give out the bears to children being treated at the hospital.
They will be at the hospital from 11 AM to 12 PM Thursday.
This trip is in honor of an of behalf of injured Trooper Michael “Mickey” Gonterman U/534.
Trooper Gonterman was injured on the job recently and is very passionate about the ‘Trooper Teddy’ program as well as serving and protecting the children of the commonwealth.
