KSP: Trooper injured in accident with horse

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A trooper is injured in a crash involving a horse in Rockcastle County.

It happened at around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

The trooper hit and killed a horse while on Kentucky 150 just outside Mount Vernon, according to Kentucky State Police.

The trooper was taken to the hospital. There is no word yet on the extent of his injuries.
