Traffic stop leads to drug bust in Casey County
LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is in custody after Kentucky State Police say they found drugs in his car during a traffic stop in Casey County.
Troopers say they stopped 32-year-old Buddy Bernard, of Russell Springs, outside of Liberty on KY 206 for a registration violation.
According to State Police, they searched the car and found several small bags of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, syringes and prescription medications.
State Police say Bernard was charged with possession of a controlled substance among other charges.
