KSP: Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust in Knox County

ARTEMUS, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man who was pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign, ended up going to jail on drug charges in Knox County, according to State Police.

Investigators say when 33-year old Algin Cain, of Artemus, was pulled over on a traffic stop on KY 225 Wednesday evening, he was caught with 21 Gabapentin pills, half of a pill that was unmarked, a crack pipe and .023 grams of methamphetamine.

Cain was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center facing nine criminal charges, according to KSP.
