KSP: Texas woman arrested in KY with missing juvenile

Central City, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a Texas woman is under arrest in Kentucky after she was found with a 17-year-old who was reported missing.

On December 30, a trooper pulled over a white 2006 Ford Explorer traveling at a high rates of speed on the Western Kentucky Parkway. State Police say the vehicle’s plates had previously been entered into a national database, linking it to a case of a missing teenager.

The trooper says the missing juvenile was a passenger in the vehicle.

Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were also discovered in the vehicle, according to State Police.

The juvenile was taken to the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center in Bowling Green.

The driver, 19-year-old Nicolette Alamares of San Antonio, Texas was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment, unlawful transaction with a minor, drug possession and several other charges.

She was booked into the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
