KSP: Teen killed in motorcycle accident in Casey County

YOSEMITE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say 17-year old Taylor Woods of Waynesburg was killed Friday evening when a car, driven by 31-year old Justin Denson of Liberty, crossed over the center line of KY 837 and collided with Woods’ motorcycle head-on.

Investigators say Woods was not wearing a helmet.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  State Police say Denson was wearing a seat belt.  He was taken to UK Hospital in Lexington with undisclosed injuries.

State Police say Denson was traveling north on KY 837, six miles east of Yosemite around 6:24 p.m., when the collision occurred.  The deadly accident remains under investigation.
