KSP: Suspects had active meth lab in car
MIDDLESBORO, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say what began as a traffic stop in Middlesboro ended with 3 arrests after officers found an active meth lab in the car.
Troopers say it happened Monday at 8:45 p.m. when they stopped a green Cadillac for traffic violations.
While performing the traffic stop, investigators say they found an active meth lab inside the car.
19-year-old Brittany Childers 25-year-old Roy Childers, both of Mckee, and 28-year-old Stephen Childress of Speedwell, TN., were all arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, as well as a charge of child endangerment. ABC 36 has reached out for more information in that charge.
They were all taken to the Bell Co. Detention Center.
