KSP: Speeding violation turns into stolen car arrest

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police say a car that was speeding on I-165 in Daviess County turned out to be a stolen car from Greenville, Ky.

Troopers say 18-year-old Noah Leach was stopped for a speeding violation, then KSP determined the car was stolen.

Leach was arrested for receiving stolen property and driving on a suspended license.

KSP says the vehicle was returned to the owner and Leach was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
