KSP: Shooting Leads To Standoff
A standoff that lasted for hours in Frankfort started with a shooting, according to police.
Kentucky State Police said a man shot a juvenile then ran to a home on Chenault Road and barricaded himself in at around 7 p.m. Monday.
Four different law enforcement agencies responded to the area and Chenault Road was shut down.
Negotiators were called in and talked with the man.
He came out after five hours and was arrested.
State police did not release any details on the shooting or release the name of the suspect.
The age and condition of the shooting victim are unknown.
