KSP searching for escapee from Fulton Co. Detention Center

HICKMAN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say Michael Shane Hunter, 40, of Guston, walked away from a work detail with the Fulton Co. Detention Center on Sunday at about 7:30 p.m.

Hunter is described as being 5’7″ tall, with short brown hair and hazel or green eyes.  He was last seen wearing a zip-up hoodie-style sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and a tan hat.  Troopers say he has an outline tattoo of small “prayer hands” on the right side of his back and an outline tattoo of a sun on his upper left arm.

Hunter is serving time for theft by failure to make required disposition of propery, fleeing and evading police, and flagrant non-support.

Troopers say Hunter may by in route to Hardin or Nelson Co.

Officers are asking anyone who has any contact with Hunter to contact Kentucky State Police at 1-800-222-5555
