KSP searching for escaped inmate from Bluegrass Career and Development Center

RICHMOND, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police are searching for an inmate who walked away from the Bluegrass Career and Development Center in Madison County on Saturday night.

Troopers say 34-year-old Ester J. Stevenson of Corbin left the facility just before 9:30 p.m. on August 30.

Stevenson is described as being 6’1” tall, 194 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, gray sweatpants, and a white hat. Police say he also has multiple tattoos on his chest and arms.

According to officials, Stevenson was serving time for trafficking methamphetamine and as a persistent felony offender. He is known to frequent Knox, Corbin, Woodbine, and surrounding counties.
