UPDATE: Casey County escapee located

UPDATE: (9/19/18, 1:19 p.m.) – Kentucky State Police say Jennifer Shackelford has been arrested by the Casey County Sheriff’s Department.

She was taken into custody around 10:54 a.m.

Shackelford is in the Casey County Detention Center.

CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are attempting to find an escapee from a Casey County recovery home.

State Police say 46-year-old Jennifer Shackelford, of Middleboro, walked away from a women’s recovery home on September 19th around 12:20 a.m.

Shackelford is described as 5”4”, 180 lb. with brown hair and green eyes.

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants.

State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Shackelford and are encouraged to dial 911 or KSP toll-free at 1-800-222-5555, if they have any potential information regarding her whereabouts.
