KSP: Over $20K in drugs seized during traffic stop
PINEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A traffic stop on Tuesday in Bell Co. led to the seizure of drugs with a street value of over $20,000 dollars and a drug trafficking arrest, according to Kentucky State Police.
Troopers say they stopped a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt around 6:30 a.m. on US 25E in Pineville. During the stop, officers say they found a large amount of narcotics, with an estimated street valuye of $21,094. Investigators also seized $600 dollars in cash.
The passenger in the vehicle, 36-year-old Michael Reynolds of Hulen, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of trafficking and possession, among other charges.
The driver, Lisa Ramey, of Fourmile, was cited with numerous traffic charges.
Reynolds was taken to the Bell Co. Detention Center.
