KSP: Morehead Man Accused Of Receiving Marijuana In The Mail
State Police said a Rowan County man was arrested and charged with receiving illegal drugs through the mail.
Investigators said Thomas Terry, 30, of Morehead, received a package in the mail at his house on Dillon Lane from California that contained two pounds of processed marijuana and hash oil.
State Police said Terry denied ownership of the package.
Investigators said a search of Terry’s house turned up three pounds of processed marijuana, hash oil, drug paraphernalia and $7,500 in cash.
Terry was arrested and charged with numerous drug offenses.
He was lodged in the Rowan County Detention Center.
The case remained under investigation, according to State Police.
