KSP: Man found dead in Pike County, murder investigation ensues

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police is investigating a murder in Pike County.

Troopers responded to a shooting around 8 p.m. Saturday in the city park area near the flood wall.

State police say when troopers got to the scene, they found a person shot dead.

The Pike County Coroner’s Office says the victim died at the scene.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Information about a suspect, or suspects, is also not available at this time.
