KSP: Man dies in car crash; baby expected to be okay

ANNVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a car crash in Jackson County left one man dead and a baby in the hospital.

Troopers say 40-year-old Darrow Baldwin, of Annville, was driving north on Highway 290 when he lost control of his vehicle. They say the vehicle went over an embankment and collided with a tree.

The Jackson County Coroner’s Office says Baldwin died at the scene.

Investigators say a baby in the car was taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
