KSP: KY 11 collision results in several hospitalizations.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — A collision occurred on KY 11 near the Powell and Wolfe County line on Monday, police report, after two cars collided.
Mt. Sterling’s 25-year-old Jason D Branham was traveling westbound on KY 11 when he lost control of the vehicle, says KSP, crossing the center line and heading into eastbound traffic.
State Police say 24-year-old Tiffany McDaniels was driving eastbound around a curve and was unable to avoid a collision with Branham’s vehicle at approximately 5:30 p.m. McDaniel was transporting two passengers at the time of the accident, and officials say Branham had two passengers in his car as well.
McDaniels and passengers, John and Faith Gibson, were transported to UK Hospital in Lexington, where officials say they are listed in stable condition.
Jason and James Branham were also sent to UK hospital, also in stable condition, while Anthony Branham was reportedly moved to Clark Regional Hospital in Winchester, where he was treated and released.
Authorities say the collision remains under investigation.
